During the last Quinquennial inspection a problem was identified with one of the beams supporting the balcony. Earlier this year the plaster was removed to identify and reveal the problem which was found to be dry rot. Therefore the beam was supported by props during the repairs. The wood has now been treated and reinforced with a metal plate, the props removed and the plaster work made good.
